I have spent my life caring for people, serving my community, and doing my best to help where I can.

As a registered nurse with 29 years of experience, I have had the privilege of caring for others during some of the most important and
difficult moments of their lives. Nursing has taught me compassion, patience, responsibility, and the importance of truly listening to
people.

My commitment to service has never stopped at my profession. Over the years, I have tried to give back to the community in meaningful ways through volunteer work, outreach, and local philanthropy. I have been proud to volunteer at St. Monica Home, help with the East Chicago Turkey Drive, and support organizations such as Katherine’s House and the Boys & Girls Club. I have also worked with local churches to help provide food and clothing donations to families in need.

I do not believe service is about recognition. I believe it is about
showing up, helping others, and doing what is right even when no one is watching. That has been the foundation of both my professional life and my community involvement.

I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to serve others, and I
carry those experiences with me in everything I do. My goal has always been simple: to work hard, stay grounded, and be someone people can count on.
